What is cell tissue? This interdisciplinary learning resource for pupils aged 14–18 looks at the science of cells through Kitty Joyce’s poem Epithelium, which uses word association and figurative language to evoke the structure of cell tissue.
Along with the poem, the five-page PDF resource contains discussion and writing prompts for young people to consider cells, engage with the poem and create their own poem in response to it.
