Celebrate your school’s unique character by using this free activity to create a signature dish inspired by the school and everyone in it.

The School Is the Menu is an activity designed to create your school’s own food culture inspired by stories gathered from your school community. The free downloadable PDF contains plenty of prompts for inspiration, from the buildings and the grounds of your school to the cultures, communities and stories of the people who learn, study and work in it.

The School Is the Menu is inspired by Dandelion, a creative celebration of growing, music and community. Schools in Scotland can serve their dish as part of Dandelion’s Harvest celebrations in September 2022, but every school in the UK is invited to take part in this activity and create their own dish.
