See your hometown in a new light

StoryTrails, a unique, multimedia storytelling experience is coming to Swansea on 10 - 11 August.

It offers you the opportunity to experience Swansea in a completely new way by using technology to bring hidden stories of your town/city to life.  Drop into Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road and try out a range of different immersive and virtual reality experiences or go on a guided tour of your city with the StoryTrails app as your tour guide.

In Swansea the augmented reality app reveals the untold history of Joe’s ice cream, created by Joe Cascarini, and celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

The tour is narrated by Actress Michelle Mcturnen who has appeared in Stella, Casualty and The Crown and runs her own disability theatre company in South Wales

Time travellers need no previous technical experience and electronic mobile devices can be borrowed for the tour if you don’t have your own.

All activities are completely free so just turn up and join in.
