See your hometown in a new light

StoryTrails, a unique, multimedia storytelling experience is coming to Bristol on 20 - 21 August.

It offers you the opportunity to experience Bristol in a completely new way by using technology to bring hidden stories of your town/city to life.  Drop into Bristol Central Library, College Green and try out a range of different immersive and virtual reality experiences or go on a guided tour of your city with the StoryTrails app as your tour guide.

In Bristol the augmented reality app reveals the untold history of the Majothi family, refugees from Uganda who brought their entrepreneurial spirit and the taste of India and Africa to Bristol.

The tour is narrated by Cook, Guardian columnist and award-winning cookery writer, Meera Sodha

Time travellers need no previous technical experience and electronic mobile devices can be borrowed for the tour if you don’t have your own.

All activities are completely free so just turn up and join in.
