The Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) Art & Energy Challenge invites students aged 12–18 to design a renewable energy artwork that provides clean electricity to the historic Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare – the temporary home of SEE MONSTER, part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK.
This special challenge is a chance for students to put their design and technology knowledge and skills to the test. A free downloadable toolkit explains the design process, step by step, but the inspiration must come from the students – who can design an experience, a cultural icon, a gathering place, an events space, or maybe a work of art that stretches out into the water.
Share your completed designs with LAGI, which will choose the best of them to feature in an online exhibition on the LAGI website.
