Green Space Dark Skies
Lumenators creating outdoor artworks
Imagine thousands of lights making patterns on mountains, lakes and moorland across the UK. Green Space Dark Skies is looking for 20,000 people to become Lumenators, who will each carry special lighting devices designed by Siemens to create unique artworks at 20 landscape locations in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
From April to September 2022 the Green Space Dark Skies Lumenators will take us on a journey through our National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to celebrate these beautiful landscapes, but also to raise awareness of the need to cherish and protect them. Exact locations are being kept secret, except for people that are signed up as Lumenators.
