What do cells do in our body? And how are scientists working to understand more about how our digestive system works?

In a 15-minute video for pupils aged 4–11, Dr Charlotte Lee talks about how she became a medical scientist and discusses her work on the cells of the liver – the only organ capable of regenerating itself. Using the one-page lesson plan, you can then explore how our bodies digest food by measuring out each section of our digestive system in lengths of string.
